·  Database conversion migration project for vender telecommunications equipment.  Located equipment in FnE database platform and built an Excel mapping / modeling structure to MetaSolv database platform.

FIELD TECHNICIAN (RBS Outdoor & Indoor 3106 Cabinet Cell Site Pre-Integration Field Technician)

·  GSM / UMTS T1 pre-integration and capacity add-on verification project.

·  Initiated all T1 cross connects in Tellabs 5500, and Alcatel 1631 / 1671 DACSs.

·  Verified DACS port assignments in Granite Xng.

·  Extended Telco circuits from the Telco demark to UMTS Node B cabinets.

DACS TECHNICIAN

·  Verified DACS port assignments in Granite Xng database.

·  Confirmed T1’s were good from the 5500 DACS to NIU with field technicians and made all appropriate DACS cross connect in order to resolve design discrepancies.

·  Confirmed that the T1’s were good from the MSN to the Node-B in Alcatel 7670 RSP (Routing Switch Platform), if the T1 definitions were not present I would add the necessary T1s.

·  Assisted Field Engineers (remotely) verifying the LMS (last mile cable) was error free.

·  Remotely accessed NIUs (Network Interface Units) and insured that they were working properly.

·  Software used: Homer, Remedy, Granite,  CTS, IWOS NetAnalyst and ProComm Plus

T-MOBILE           (Contractor with Tellabs via Multipoint)              Northern CA          8/2007 – 04/2008

 

FIELD TRANSPORT ENGINEER

·  Travel to various T-Mobile switch locations to pre-test and accept DS1 and DS3 circuits with AT&T prior to the morning of cut to new re-homed BSC facilities utilizing Acterna test set.

·  Troubleshoot and coordinate cutovers with various telecom vendors and resolve T1 continuity issues.

·  Deleted cross connects in ATM, Alcatel-Lucent 5620 & 1631NM & .

·  Utilized Granite database to look up information on existing CLEC orders.

·  Update Homer work order database via CITRIX.

·  Hard wired DS1 cross-connects and DS3 cables at DSX panels at various T-Mobile switch locations.

·  Made POTS, DS1 and DS3 software cross connects in Tellabs Titan 5500 virtual system via Procomm Plus data terminal and Hyper Terminal.

DACS ENGINEER

·  Migrated AT&T’s 911 T1 and VT1 (Virtual T1) circuits onto Cingular Wireless’ network from BSCs (Base Station Controllers) and cell sites utilizing Telcordia’s Granite Xng, Procomm, Tellabs Titan 5500, DACS 532  (Digital Access Cross Connect) and Alcatel 1631 Network Management System (NMS).

·  Accessed circuit designs in Granite Xng and conducted T1, end-to-end, testing with various telecommunication companies using Centest 650 and remote T-Berd 224 tester from Cingular’s MTSO (Mobile Telephone Switching Office).

TRANSPORT NETWORK ENGINEER

·  Made all STS (Synchronous Transport Signal) and VT (Virtual Tributary) cross connects completing all virtual T1, DS3, OC12 connections in Ericsson 501 cabled DS3’s and Ericsson 810 fiber interfaces to BSC (Base Station Controller).

·  Mapped trunking, E911 and signaling links required for cell-site augmentations, re-homes and new node turn-ups utilizing topography, network design maps .

·  Provisioned, configured, diversified, re-homed (DS0 through OC48) within Ericsson GSM, Openview, Alcatel ATM 1631, 7670, 7470, GEM 1353, Lucent CBX-500 Network Management Systems, Lucent DACS-IV and Titan 5500.

·  Generated work orders based upon Alcatel’s congested network review and provided technical support to our operations personnel.

·  Assessed available DACS capacity and other port resources to accommodate re-homes in BTS (Base Transceiver Station) to new BSC (Base Station Controllers) and MSC (Mobile Switching Center) locations.

·  Trained new incoming personal and managed small to medium sized projects.

·  Utilized DLR (Design Layout Records), Remedy and Granite Xng provisioning systems in connecting DACS and DS3 elements.

·  Verified and augmented transport core network transmission path elements.
